5 simple ways to prevent hair loss and breakage

We often find ourselves spending a considerable amount of funds on different hair products to maintain the quality of our hair. However, experts suggest simple and natural home remedies that are very effective in increasing the strength and luster of our hair.

  1. Oiling: One suggested method is boiling coconut, olive or some other type of oil then cooling it down to lukewarm temperature. We should the apply it carefully to the roots of our hair leaving it on covered with a towel for at least an hour. Then rinse it thoroughly with a shampoo.
  2. Using natural juices: Red onion, ginger or garlic juices when taken in moderate amount, experts recommend them as being nutritious to hair. We can drink these juices before bed or put them on our hair overnight. 
  3. Head massage:Giving our scalp everyday  a soft massage for a few minutes can help increase blood flow to our hair roots  and stimulates our follicular cells leading to robust growth and decrease in breaks.
  4. Green tea: The anti-oxidants found in green tea can be very effective in getting great hair. We can  directly apply the green tea which is concentrated to the roots of our hair. We can leave it on for a few hours then rinse it. 
  5. Decreasing our stress level: According to experts, the leading cause of hair loss is stress, which can be both physical and psychological. Therefore, the top remedy to improve the strength of our hair is to significantly decrease our stress level. This can be done through meditation and other exercises. Meditation can help balance our hormonal disruptions that result from high stress levels.
