Five organs most affected by excessive consumption of alcohol

To begin with, according to world health organization recent study, there is no healthy amount of alcohol. But when one takes it excessively the following five important organs are highly damaged. 

1) The heart
Excessive alcohol consumption can affect blood flow to the body tissues by affecting the contractile ability of heart and resulting in irregular heart beat which can end up in heart failure leading to shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, fatigue, persistent coughing, and can lead to hypertension and stroke.

2) The brain
Alcohol delays transmission of messages across the brain. Alcohol abuse can affect different parts of the brain and can cause behavioral changes such as depression, anxiety and memory problems.

3) The liver
The liver is a part of the body that functions in controlling digestion, storing nutrients, controlling infection, and removing toxins from the body and production of many protiens. So if we regularly consume alcohol, we will cause serious damage to the liver.

4) kidneys
Excessive consumption of alcohol can cause disruptions in the kidney function and cause damage to the balance of nutrients in the body. This can lead to high blood pressure which in long standing causes kidney failure.

5) Pancreas
Taking too much alcohol, just like your brain, can damage ones pancreas. The organ produces the enzymes, which aids in digestion. when excessive amout of alcohol is taken, causes disruption of normal function of pancreas ending up in inflammation of the organ. This can cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and can cause life threatening emergency.
